IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL: Need some technique to go with your inspired Halloween idea? Join us for one or all of our costume design workshops and learn how to turn your everyday clothes into one-of-a-kind costumes. When you learn how to add your individual flair to repurposed clothing, you’ll stand out at the parties and look anything but store bought.

Week 1: Distressing techniques. Learn how to create decrepit, old, and weathered fabrics with sand paper, shoe polish, bleach, fraying edges and proper ripping technique.

Week 2: Gore. We’re bringing in a blood specialist to teach you blood stains and vein simulation, through techniques like dripping, splattering, straw blowing, and ombre dipping.

Week 3: Cosplay. We’ll teach you how to draft patterns to create shapes that can be used to construct helmets, armor, and more.

Registration includes materials fee. For our virtual participants, you’ll be able to stop by Free Range Kids in the week before to pick up supplies.
