Free Range Humans

Summer classes start June 21st!

We appreciate that this year has been full of uncertainty, financial hits, health concerns, and stress. In our very first class I taught last September, I asked the kids, “What do you hope to get out of this class?” Every one of them answered People. To be around people, to be creative with others, to make things together – these things are powerfully healing to experience. Whether your child is serious about the performing arts and wants to discover or refine new skills, or your child wants to explore new things and reacclimate to being in groups, our classes will welcome your child and their needs.

Our venue is open one hour before each class, and students are welcome to arrive early to chill in the lounge, read, play games, build, draw, or practice. If a student signs up for two consecutive classes, they pack a lunch and hang out in between for no additional charge. We hope Free Range Kids & Teens will become a creative home and safe space to try new things, and we welcome you to spend time with your child in our space when classes are not in session.

Look around our website for a complete listing of classes, and check our our companion class suggestions below.

See you soon!

By popular demand, FULL DAY options added! By combining classes we’re already offering with supplementary activity, our full day camps explore multiple aspects of the performing arts, encouraging well-rounded creative exploration, leadership, and teamwork.

Camps run 9am to 4pm

Week of July 19: Costumes & Musical Theatre https://freerangeworld.com/event/daycamp01/
Week of July 26: Puppet Crafting & Dance https://freerangeworld.com/event/camp02/

Every Monday-Thursday, 4pm-5pm, we have movement and theatre classes for age 4-7. These classes are an excellent way to get your littles back in the swing of social time, going places, and getting gradually used to being without their grown-up for a short while. Parents may stay in the room or drop off, according to you and your child’s comfort.
